Jute Made Canvas :
Jute made Canvas is mostly useable canvas in a various way in Bangladesh. In various open places like field, yard, different places to sit, also jute canvas is used in Mosque, school veranda to perform many task. In rainy season polythene is used to laminate the opposite side of jute made canvas which helps to prevent rain and moisture. It is very much environment friendly. Also jute canvas has many advantages. Jute made canvas is strong, durable also colorful canvas is being made. Jute canvas characteristics make people more use of them. Some of the uses of canvas are to protect people from different kind of construction, to cover various things, to save sun light by covering like a roof etc. Jute canvas is like carpets and other textile floor coverings, woven, not tufted or flocked. Jute canvas can be define like a floor covering having jute yarns or fibres on surface which are projected from a substrate.
Jute canvas made of jute felt which is formed by super imposing, one on the other, a number of layers of jute fibres. These are then moistened and subject to heavy pressure and a rubbing or beating action.
Beside canvas Jute is used in the manufacture of a number of fabrics such as Hessian cloth, sacking, scrim, carpet backing cloth (CBC). Hessian, lighter than sacking, is used for bags, wrappers, wall-coverings, upholstery, and home furnishings. Sacking, a fabric made of heavy jute fibers, has its use in the name. CBC made of jute comes in two types. Primary CBC provides a tufting surface, while secondary CBC is bonded onto the primary backing for an overlay. Jute packaging is used as an eco-friendly substitute.
